Chaos add Voltage as official fifth

The stand-in period is over for Logan “Voltage” Long as he moves to a full-time position with Chaos. Voltage will officially fill the void left behind by Owen “smooya” Butterfield.

smooya is currently back in the United Kingdom and unable to play for Chaos due to visa troubles caused by the current outbreak of COVID-19.“The ongoing pandemic has placed his visa interview on indefinite hiatus, and has stopped him from being able to compete with the team in the United States. Smooya will be searching for a new team to play for immediately. ,” Chaos said in a tweet regarding their decision.

Voltage was brought on as a stand-in from Triumph and will now join the team effective immediately. During his time with Chaos participating in FLASHPOINT, Voltage has been one of the best performing players for the squad.

This will be a reunion between Voltage and Chaos’ head coach, Matthew “mCe” Elmore, formerly of Triumph.

The team will kick things off with their new official member in the FLASHPOINT playoffs which begin on April 9th where they’ll take on HAVU.
