G2 Esports Signs Partnership Deal With Domino’s Pizza Ahead of Worlds 2020

Domino’s Pizza Deutschland has entered into a commercial partnership with Berlin-based esports organization G2 Esports. The pizza chain will become the official quick-service restaurant of G2 in Germany, and the companies will collaborate on various content projects as well as hosting at-home viewing experiences for the upcoming League of Legends World Championship.

Last year, G2 and Domino’s teamed up for a limited time promotion during the World Championship. This promotion also included a community viewing experience.

Domino’s esports activity has thus far largely been focused on Europe. The company has previously partnered with Spanish organizer LVP and UK-based esports company Gfinity. Last year, Domino’s Malaysia also ran a promotion that would award the country’s esports players with a 10-year supply of pizza if they won a gold medal in any of the esports competitions held at the Southeast Asian Games. Malaysia won the gold medal in the Hearthstone event.
