HyperX announced as official sponsor for FACEIT London Major
HyperX has become an official sponsor for the upcoming FACEIT London Major. FACEIT is bringing the emblematic Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament to the SSE Arena in Wembley, London.
Between September 20th and September 23rd, the top teams in the world are competing for a portion of the $1 million (£780,000) prize pool. Defending champions Cloud9 are looking to snatch the crown one more time against 24 teams, including Team Liquid, Natus Vincere, and Fnatic.
Michele Attisani, Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder of FACEIT said: “We are excited to be hosting the 13th CS: GO Major in London this year. The community has been at the heart of everything we do at FACEIT, and we’re so grateful for the support of the players on our platform and those who are planning to attend.”
HyperX is providing keyboards, mice, mouse pads, DRAM and SSD products for the players. The sponsor is also installing a HyperX booth. The activities at the booth include a one-versus-one tournament, fan signings and the showcase of HyperX’s new line of licensed clothing by Rubber Road. Peripherals will be for sale at the event for a great price.
Ben Malka, influencer marketing manager for HyperX EMEA said: “It’s great to see a Valve Major come to the UK. HyperX has supported esports from grassroots all the way up to major tournaments and many of the teams you will see competing this September. With many of our products, including the Pulsefire FPS Pro mouse and Alloy Elite keyboard, designed with the first-person shooter fans in mind, the partnership with Valve and its tournaments has always been a highlight for HyperX.”
Esport Insider says: HyperX is further integrating itself into esports, on a broader scale. The company regularly supports organisations and individuals across games and genres. HyperX appears to understand the esports world and its constant involvement with a number of major events show its commitment to the industry.
