Resolut1on to stand-in for Just Error in the Epic League Division 2 playoffs
Roman “Resolut1on” Fominok will stand-in for Just Error starting with their first match in the Division 2 playoffs at Epic League, temporarily replacing Syed “SumaiL” Hassan.
According to Cybersport.ru, Resolut1on will be joining the team starting today, December 9 when Just Error will be playing against Live to Win in Division 2 upper bracket semi-finals series and will play for the whole playoff bracket. Most likely, the decision comes after Just Error tried to power through the Division 1 group stage matches with SumaiL playing from the US with latency disadvantage and failed to make it to the playoffs.
Although SumaiL himself said through a couple of interviews for the official English stream of the tournament that the communication isn’t a big issue for him nor for the entire roster of Just Error, he did mention the ping he has sometimes to overcome as well as the inconvenient hours he has to stay awake in order to play with his team on the European time zone.
So far, SumaiL has played in the mid lane for Just Error, while Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko made a rather smooth transition to the offlane.
However, with Reso standing-in, No[o]ne might return to the mid lane for the rest of the competition at Epic League. In a short statement for Cybersport.ru, Just Error mentioned that any lane swaps can potentially happen as now they have three players suited for the offlane position.
“This is a temporary solution for the remaining matches,” said Just Error.” Resolut1on, No[o]ne and RAMZEs can all play in the third position, so we will act based on the drafts.”
While No[o]ne has just made the role swap starting with the Just Error roster, RAMZEs spent the year adapting to a new role as he joined Evil Geniuses in the post Ti9 shuffle. At the same time, Resolut1on who played though his professional career only in the carry and mid lane position, switched to the offlane in the same post TI9 shuffle when he joined Virtus.pro.
