Doctor Who Will Release Episode-Specific Merch Every Week This Season
Hot Topic has officially partnered with BBC America and BBC Studios to offer Doctor Who fans a range of brand new, exclusive T-shirt designs inspired by each new episode of the sci-fi drama throughout its fast-approaching Season 12 run.In a first for the live-action TV series, episode-specific merchandise will be released on Hot Topic's Doctor Who Hub on a weekly basis immediately after each episode airs, allowing fans to commemorate Jodie Whittaker's exciting second season as the Doctor.The robust retail program will debut alongside the premiere episode of the twelfth season of Doctor Who on New Year's Day, with subsequent episodes and product launches on each consecutive Sunday."We're excited to offer fans even more Doctor Who-inspired merchandise in this unique retail program," says Andrea Lewis, VP of Brand Marketing, Hot Topic."Doctor Who fans are among the most loyal and enthusiastic on this planet," adds Suzy Raia, VP Licensing and Business Development, BBC Studios.
