Final Fantasy 7 Remake fans delivered big boost ahead of PS4 release date

Final Fantasy 7 Remake is one of the most eagerly anticipated exclusives coming to the PS4.

Fans of the iconic JRPG have faced a long wait to see the revival of Cloud’s iconic adventure in Midgar get released.

First announced back in 2015, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is set to release next year in March 2020.

The highly anticipated release date comes after a period of three and a half years when there was radio silence on the Square Enix project.

That barren run of news was broken this year when the Final Fantasy 7 Remake re-emerged during a State of Play prior to E3 2019.

And then the Final Fantasy 7 Remake got a huge showing during the Square Enix E3 press conference.

At the gaming extravaganza in LA attendees were also able to play the first ever demo of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

There were rumours this demo was also going to get released as a PS Plus extra, but so far that has failed to materialise.

So at the moment the only place to have been able to play the Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo was at E3 2019.

But that’s all about to change soon with Square Enix revealing that the demo will soon be playable for the first time in Europe.

At Gamescom 2019 Square Enix will be offering attendees the chance to play a hands-on demo of the FF7 Remake.

There will be 72 stations featuring the Final Fantasy 7 Remake that attendees will be able to play.

Also at Gamescom 2019 attendees will be able to play the a demo of the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game.

This is the first time a playable demo of the highly anticipated title will be playable at a trade show.

The news comes as the official Final Fantasy 7 Remake Twitter account revealed more concept art for the JRPG revival.

The concept art shows the vision the game’s makers had for Midgar’s Sector 8 region and contrasted it with how it looks in the actual game.

Alongside the pictures the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Twitter posted: “Today we’re revealing another brand-new piece of concept art, this time of the bustling Sector 8 from #FinalFantasy VII Remake, alongside an in-game screenshot.

“Notice the LOVELESS sign atop the theatre on the main road? #FF7R”.
