Five Nights At Freddy’s Movie Begins Filming This Spring
The keenly awaited Five Nights At Freddy’s film is ramping up production and will begin filming this Spring.
Earlier this month, reports circulated that the film would undergo a lengthy delay as Cawthon had changed his mind regarding the film’s potential plot. In an interview with Polygon, Cawthon claimed he was “determined to find the right story,” and the film was delayed indefinitely.

In a Reddit post earlier today, series creator Scott Cawthon teased fans about some upcoming news regarding the fate of the film. In this post, he shares some of the ideas that he, the director, and some writers had for the upcoming film, but were tossed away for one reason or another.
Cawthon also revealed that filming will begin in Spring next year and that he’d be using the “Mike” screenplay idea that he described prior to his announcement. In typical Cawthon fashion, the description of the film is vague, but he promises that the film will be fun, scary, and that it also has a great central story. We’ll likely find out more details about the film next year.
