GAME could be the first UK retailer to offer PS5 stock this week, which is rumoured to include re-stocks from Argos, Currys, Very and John Lewis.
No set times have been shared for when this might happen, and there is a chance gamers will have to wait until later this week before being able to buy a next-gen console.
But based on the news we have now, GAME UK might be the next website to check for PS5 stock on February 16.
PS5 stock tracker account PS5 Instant shared the update today, after console hunters how long they might have to wait for more news.
Plenty more is expected to follow with Currys, John Lewis and Very expected to refresh their stock.
Commenting on today’s stock situation, PS5 Instant shared this news on Twitter: “Not expecting any drops today, except potentially GAME, otherwise most likely tomorrow.”
This doesn’t mean there will be a guaranteed drop tomorrow, but there’s a chance that GAME will be the next UK retailer to offer an update.
According to PS5 Instant, these are the times that PS5 stock usually drops from leading retailers:
- BT& EE – 8am
- John Lewis – around 8am
- Very – varies from 10am to Noon
- Amazon UK – 8am to 2pm
- Argos – 1 to 4am
- ASDA – Late Afternoon
- Currys – 4 to 8am
GAME is not listed so console hunters will want to keep an eye on the site from 8am GMT.

Alternatively, stock tracker accounts on social media share updates regularly throughout the day, while some also use YouTube to share news.
As mentioned above, GAME is just one of many leading retailers who are rumoured to be getting PS5 stock this week.
A message from the PS5 Instant Twitter account adds more context to the situation, revealing that they will be monitoring the UK situation every day this week.
The comment from PS5 Instant reads: “If you didn’t manage to get one, don’t worry, this was the start of Mid-February drops, Currys, Argos, Amazon Very and more still to drop, alongside more GAME drops soon.
“No drops this weekend. Next week we’re looking at stock by Currys, John Lewis, Very, AO, Amazon, Argos and GAME again. We’ll be live streaming drops with sound alerts 24-7.
“In anticipation of stock by most retailers this week, I’ll be live streaming our stock checker for most the week. It will make a loud siren sound upon stock drop, so you can use it as an alarm if you’d like too.”
This means that the coming days could see PS5 stock drops occurring throughout the week, rather than just on Tuesday and Thursday.
An earlier message also provided some hope that more console stock could start coming through as scalpers aren’t quite as much money from snapping up gaming machines.
“Scalping is becoming less profitable as PS5s price on eBay went average £755 to £680 (disc and dig), and despite AMD issues, this stock will be much bigger for the UK. Expect stock 18th.”
Other stock tracker accounts have listed Argos as getting a PlayStation 5 re-stock this week, however, there are also reports that the retailer’s biggest event won’t happen until the week of February 22.
