Xinyan's Ascension Cost and Item Locations
This may come as no surprise to anyone who has ascended a Pyro character, but Xinyan needs some Agnidus Agate to unlock her level cap at levels 20, 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80. These can be obtained by defeating various bosses, most notably the Pyro Hypostasis and Pyro Regisvine.

Each character needs a boss drop, and Xinyan's is the Everflame Seed dropped by Liyue's Pyro Regisvine, which you can find northwest of Liyue Harbor, to the left of the large body of water on the map (Luhua Pool).

In addition, she'll need some of the insignias dropped by Treasure Hoarders. These enemies can be found almost anywhere, but you'll find a good number of them around Liyue.
Xinyan also needs some Violetgrass to be ascended, which is a local specialty of Liyue. This flower grows on the side of cliffs, but if you have trouble finding it, you can buy it from Verr Goldet at the Wangshu Inn and the Bubu Pharmacy. Their stock of Violetgrass refreshes every three days.

The talent books Xinyan uses (Teachings of Gold, Guide to Gold, and Philosophies of Gold) are rewards for finishing the trials at the Taishan Mansion domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The Tusk of Monoceros Caeli is a reward for defeating Childe at the weekly Enter The Golden House trial. You'll have to defeat him on level 70 or higher.
Finally, you'll find Crowns of Insight during special events or by leveling up the two sacred trees of Teyvat: The Sacred Sakura in Inazuma and the Frostbearing Tree on Dragonspine.
