Sakurai Shares His Some Of His Favorite Smash Ultimate Screenshots

Masahiro Sakurai has been sharing some of the screenshots that he has taken during the development of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Twitter, using the tools available to him outside of the photograph mode in the game.

It’s possible for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate players to take images with the aid of the camera controls in the pause menu and the screenshot functionality of the Nintendo Switch, which they can then share with social media. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the biggest crossover in video game history, so the fans have had a lot of fun making images of the characters in different situations, including Masahiro Sakurai, who has encouraged people to send their favorite screenshots to him as part of different contests.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is over a year old and Masahiro Sakurai has decided to share some random images on Twitter that he has taken over the course of his time working on the game. Sakurai used development tools to take these images, so fans might not be able to recreate them using the options available within Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The first image shows Kirby (after copying Hero’s powers) hanging out with the Erdrick version of Hero.

The second image shows a row of Jokers lined up with their guns pointed forward.

The third image shows Pichu looking at a small version of Ridley on the Duck Hunt stage.

The fourth image is pure furry bait, as it shows Wolf holding a flower while looking at a picture of a horse.

The fifth image shows Bayonetta and Zero Suit Samus doing the Fist of the North Star double kick in the air, while Cresselia hangs out in the background.

The sixth image is the map from the Pilotwings stage shown from above.

The seventh image is a close-up of Ken performing his Shinryuken Final Smash.

The eighth image shows Pit worshiping a divine image of Palutena.

The ninth image shows Kirby with Kazooie, which is yelling at a Kazooie that is with Banjo.

The final image shows the arcade wireframe version of Little Mac trapped in a tube, while Mewtwo watches on.

The possibilities for interesting screenshots in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are endless, especially with more DLC characters to come in the future. It’s awesome to see that Masahiro Sakurai also takes time out to create funny images while working on the game.
