Skyrim Fan Creates Hand Carved Wabbajack
"The Daedric Prince of Order. Or biscuits… No. Order. And not in a good way. Bleak. Colourless. Dead. Boring, boring, boring," Sheogorath says while sitting at a table in the middle of a dilapidated, dream state forest – it's a tucked away Skyrim quest in Solitude that rewards you with the Wabbajack, a staff that can turn chickens into dremora.
But one fan has boldly decided to tempt ol' Sheogorath by creating their own Wabbajack, hand carving wood to replicate the eerily distorted faces on each side. It probably won't turn your cat into a dwemer automaton. Probably.
What's more, it's life-size – the poster shared two images, one showing a close-up of all the stretched mouths eternally screaming, and one of them in the snow holding it. They said it's mostly made of basswood and took around 20 hours to complete – that's a bit longer than The Mind of Madness, but he won't lose this Wabbajack if his save file corrupts.
There are other Daedric staff artefacts throughout Skyrim whether it's the Sanguine Rose or Skull of Corruption, and one commenter asked if Dittograin could make the latter. If you don't remember, you get it at Dawnstar as part of the dream questline. That's if you don't destroy it, but you're condemning a whole town to sleepless nights if you take it – hardly heroic, eh Dragonborn?
Dittograin replied, saying it would take much longer than the Wabbajack at around 50 hours. That's nearly three times the work. Maybe they'll take up the challenge, but for now, we can marvel at their Wabbajack – let's just hope they don't go out and use it.
