Steam Free Games: The best Spring Cleaning bonuses, Sims 4 free download update

If you were wondering what to do with your spare time today, then it might be worth checking out some of the latest Steam free games available to download on PC.

Today is the last for some of the best rewards Valve is currently offering, while more are expected soon.

The Steam Spring Cleaning event is currently underway and is offering gamers one of the best chances they have of getting back into some of their old titles.

As many gamers will already know, it’s easy to build up a collection of titles in your Steam Library, only to let some of them sit there untouched.

The Steam Cleaning event is offering both free game trials and a number of bonuses and rewards for those interested.

“Dust off that library of games and uncover something new!” the official Steam description reads.

“Earn a new badge for your Steam profile by completing a daily task or project.

“Daily Tasks update each day, but projects only need to be completed once. Earn five trophies to unlock a unique profile badge. Level it up by completing more tasks and unlocking even more trophies.

So there’s plenty of badges and projects to try and complete before the end of the event, which is scheduled for later this week.

The Steam Spring Clean will finish tomorrow, May 28, at around 6pm in the UK.

And the good news is that it gives gamers plenty of time to download one of the free Steam game trials before it’s all over.

The free games list currently includes these titles: Dead by Daylight, Endless Space 2, Assetto Corsa, Grim Dawn, Don’t Starve Together, Black Desert Online, and Left For Dead 2.

There is also another free bonus available to download today from the EA Origin platform.

The Sims 4 currently costs nothing to add to your collection, although you will need to install yet another launcher.

The Sims 4 will be available as a free game until tomorrow May 28, at which time it will revert to its regular pricing.

The process of claiming The Sims 4 is pretty simple to do; you just need to head over to the official Origin website, click on The Sims 4 icon and scroll down until you find the “Buy Now – Starting at $0.00,” option.

You will need to set up an EA Origin account if you have never had one before, meaning extra steps before you can claim The Sims 4 for free.

Strangely, I was forced to add it to my Wishlist before I could find the option to download it for free, which may just have been my own experience.

The game can be added to your account both through logging in through your browser or by using the Origin launcher.

The free deal only extends to the standard edition of The Sims 4, with the other DLCs and expansion packs staying at the same price as usual.

10GB of hard drive space is required to download The Sims 4, and will go up if you choose to buy any of the packs.

Currently, there are six expansion packs available to download, alongside seven Game Packs and 14 Stuff Packs.
