The Big Adventure Event On Steam Discounts 80+ Games And Offers Brand-New Demos
The Big Adventure Event begins today on Steam, offering discounts on more than 80 games, dozens of new demos to explore, and exclusive developer commentary. The event is now live and will run until January 25.
Steam’s latest festival can be accessed directly through its dedicated central hub on the Steam app or official website. It’s presented by Hitcents – a popular indie game publisher – and many of its best-selling games will be on sale during The Big Adventure. Among the other publishers and developers featured are Whitethorn Digital, Toge Productions, Joe Richardson, Fellow Traveller, and Raw Fury. “Players will be invited to join as developers stream their work live, offering a chance to share behind the scenes information, answer questions and showcase what may become their next favorite adventure game,” said Hitcents. “Players can expect developer broadcasts of a mixed range of titles including Unforeseen Incidents, Inspector Waffles, Tangle Tower, and Lord Winklebottom Investigates.”
Of the 40 demos on display, many of them will be for currently unreleased titles, giving you an easy way to sample the future of the adventure genre. Here’s a quick rundown of a few demos you’ll find during The Big Adventure Event:
- Ghost on the Shore
- Inspector Waffles
- One Dreamer
- The Drifter
- Saint Kotar
- Nine Noir Lives
- Don’t Forget Me
- Justin Wack and the Big Time Hack
The Big Adventure Event looks like a treat for adventure fans. Not only are you getting 80+ games at a discounted price, but the lengthy list of available demos gives you a free way to join in on the fun. And don’t forget to check out the developer broadcasts, offering a behind the scenes look at some of your favorite games.
Steam is also currently offering discounts on several unrelated titles, such as Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning, Unrailed, Democracy 4, and Deliver Us The Moon. Those sales all end within the next few days, so check in while you can.
