The Crew Motorfest Revealed, Launching 2023

Ubisoft has just announced the next game in The Crew franchise. The Crew: Motorfest arrives later this year and sends the franchise on a Hawaiian beach vacation.

Today's trailer showcases several Ford and Lamborghinis, including the Urus SUV and hybrid supercar Sián FKP 37 for the Italian manufacturer, and the Bronco and Shelby Cobra Limited Edition CSX8000 for Ford. All four cars can be seen driving through the beautiful streets of Hololulu, as well as the dense rainforests, winding mountain roads, and the pristine beaches of the Hawaiian islands.

"Newest iteration in The Crew franchise, The Crew Motorfest brings you to a new open world inspired by the Hawaiian island of O'ahu," reads the trailer. "Book your ticket for a one-of-a-kind car festival and get ready for a celebration of the best of car culture, featuring an unparalleled diversity of game modes and immersive driving experiences."

Billed as a live service game with "hundreds" of "legendary vehicles," The Crew: Motorfest will feature themed events, unique challenges, and online multiplayer. Confirmed platforms include PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC.

Starting tomorrow, The Crew fans will get first crack at Motorfest in a series of closed beta tests. Dubbed the Insider Program, these closed tests will last several months and require players to sign an NDA. The first phase of testing will last several weeks and be limited to PC players only. It's also not an open test as just 2,000 of the most dedicated The Crew 2 players will be invited to join. Those players can expect invitation emails to arrive in their inboxes shortly.

After the initial phases of PC testing, Ubisoft Ivory Tower confirms that other platforms will open up as the game nears launch. As for when that launch might be, that remains a mystery, but we know it'll be sometime in 2023.
