There Are Invisible Enemies In Call Of Duty: Warzone

Call of Duty: Warzone has had its fair share of frustrations. From game-breaking glitches to massive file sizes that force you to make tough choices between which games to keep installed on your device, there are plenty of issues worth talking about. However, one particular problem is unique, rage-inducing, and amusing all at once: there are loads of invisible enemies in Warzone.

Unfortunately, this is not some kind of addition to the upcoming Zombies Royale mode. Instead, it appears to be a glitch that makes players sporadically invisible. The evidence for this happening is relatively rare, but it has been reported by players enough for you to know that it’s not just people blaming the game for their performance.

Instead, the glitch appears to be infrequent and only affects a small number of players. One Redditor, u/Ksrouji, was one such combatant, but was lucky enough to have a teammate who could see the enemy. The user shared photo evidence of the glitch, proving that some players really can’t see their opponents.

Luckily, both they and their teammate were able to get pictures of the results of the gun fight so that we can see what’s going on. The top picture is from the view of their friend after getting the kill. The bottom picture is the OP who, obviously, can’t see the downed adversary. Without more information, it’s impossible to say what’s going on here besides the obvious — there are times when you are at an objective disadvantage because you literally can’t see who you’re fighting.

How this bug occurs or how frequently it happens, we don’t know. Presumably, Activision is aware of the problem and will be working to patch it with the next update. That being said, it could be an interesting addition to a zombie game to raise the stakes a little bit — at least as a limited time event. Can you imagine fighting zombies that you can only see through infrared vision?

As it is, this is clearly a bug that needs fixing. Hopefully the devs can figure out what the issue is and patch it before things get worse.
