Upcoming Fall Guys Update To Include “Lots Of Things” Players Have Been Asking For

Next week’s Fall Guys patch will have “lots of things” that players have been asking for, including no more uneven team games.

Team matches suck. Not just because you suddenly have to rely on other players when most of Fall Guys is an everyone-for-themselves-free-for-all, but because I somehow always find myself on either the team with the least amount of players (and is at an inherent disadvantage) or the Yellow Team. The Yellow Team never wins, so neither of these outcomes is ideal.

Well, that might not be a problem for much longer. According to a preview of the upcoming Fall Guys patch notes, team games will only be selected when there’s an equal number of players. Plus there’s also a bunch of other fixes that sound quite nice.

Previewed on Twitter, the update will include “lots of the things you’ve been asking us for,” and it “will hopefully drop it in the next week!”

The spiciest fixes include the aforementioned team game update to ensure all teams are equal as well as change to spectator mode so that eliminated teammates will default to viewing team members that are still competing.

A few map changes are also coming, including a fix to Slime Climb where players can no longer grab some of the moving obstacles, as well as Jump Showdown where an unnamed exploit has been fixed along with camera auto-panning.

Five of the most frequent crashes have been fixed, some visual bugs for outfits have been addressed, Trophies and Achievement names now display correctly in their native languages, and PS4 players can now enjoy additional controller customization options as well as improved UI performance for non PS4 Pro models.

The Yellow Team will also have its speed reset back to normal after allegedly being nerfed in a previous update, although it looks like that might not have been meant for publication. Ah well.

Hopefully the next patch arrives sometime in the next week. In the meantime, we’ve discovered who the “statistically best” Fall Guys player is, and it’s none other than DrLupo. Seem suspicious that a super famous Twitch streamer is also the best Fall Guys player in the world, but he got the costume, so who are we to argue?
