The Microsoft Xbox E3 2019 press conference kicked off on Sunday at 1pm PT, with tons of brand new trailers and announcements – including a highly anticipated rundown of what’s in store for Xbox’s upcoming next-gen console, Project Scarlett.

Next-Gen Xbox, Project Scarlett, Announced With Release Date

Phil Spencer took the stage to talk Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox console, Project Scarlett, which designers on the product describe as “a bigger leap” than any previous Xbox generation in terms of technical capability. Project Scarlett is coming Holiday 2020 alongside Halo Infinite, which got a brand new trailer as well.

Cyberpunk 2077 Gets a Release Date, Also Keanu Reeves

Cyberpunk 2077’s brand new trailer introduced a new member of the cast: Keanu Reeves.

Reeves took the stage after the trailer to also reveal Cyberpunk 2077’s release date, which is April 16, 2020.

Gears 5 Gets a Release Date and a Collector’s Edition

There was plenty of Gears 5 news, include the reveal of Gears 5’s release date, which is September 10, 2019.

Project xCloud Comes to Xbox One in October

Xbox Game Pass Now on PC

Sarah Bond, head of Xbox partnerships, took the stage to announce that Xbox Game Pass is now available on PC in open beta for $9.99 per month. Bond also announced a new set of games headed to Xbox Game Pass today, including Batman: Arkham Knight, Metro Exodus, Hollow Knight, and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection.

Elden Ring From Dark Souls Developer and George R. R. Martin Revealed

Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro developer FromSoftware’s new game, Elden Ring, was officially announced after a recent leak. According to the debut trailer, Elden Ring will feature “a new world” from Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin.

Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Revealed

A brand new version of the Xbox Elite wireless controller was revealed. Features include Bluetooth connectivity, three custom controller profiles, and 40 hours of battery life. It’s available to pre-order now.
