Atlus Knows You Want Persona 5 For Nintendo Switch
Persona 5 is having a resurgence in 2020, with Persona 5 Royal launching on PS4 and the Nintendo Switch getting Persona 5 Scramble (which you could argue is as essential as a sequel) this month in Japan.
But what about bringing the original to the Nintendo Switch? Something fans have been asking for. It’s curious that Atlus is releasing a follow-up to Persona 5 on a platform where players still can’t play its preceding story, with no firm indication that it’s on the cards. “You want what you want,” Advincula explained, “and if you don’t let us know it we’re never going to be able to make it.”

Advincula made it very clear during the interview that she’s far from the decision-maker at Atlus, and that this shouldn’t serve as a confirmation that the studio is working on a port. But as a self-proclaimed champion of the idea, she believes “it’s important to always voice your opinion.”
