New Mortal Kombat 11 trailer reveals Noob Saibot, official beta date set for March 27
Fan favorite Noob Saibot has been revealed for Mortal Kombat 11. Developers NetherRealm Studios confirmed the fighter’s inclusion today with a gory new trailer. This week it also announced that the game’s closed beta will begin next week, on March 27.
Noob Saibot, named after series creators Ed Boon and John Tobias, originally appeared as a hidden character in Mortal Kombat 2. The demonic ninja has gone on to develop a cult following, no pun intended. His introductory trailer shows him battling a number of characters, including his brother, Sub Zero. Saibot’s first fatality, included in the trailer, involves disemboweling his enemy and entering their chest cavity as a dark apparition, before reaching up and out of their gaping mouth and tearing them in half.
It sounds … well, it sounds about like you’d expect.
