Sony Kicks Off PSVR Sale With Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off On Games
Sony has confirmed that PlayStation VR will be compatible with the PS5, so you’ll be able to bring your PSVR games from the PS4 to the new console and play them with your current headset, camera, and controllers–though you will need a PS5 adapter, which Sony plans to provide at no additional cost. That makes this new PSVR sale particularly exciting. Sony is featuring six different PSVR titles in a Buy 1, Get 1 50% off sale that runs until September 8.
All you have to do is add two of the games to your cart, and the discount will be applied automatically. Unfortunately, this only applies once per transaction, so you won’t be able to add four games to your cart to receive another B1G1 50% off discount. If you really want more games, though, it seems like you can place multiple orders to take advantage of multiple discounts.
Buy 1, Get 1 50% off PSVR games
- Astro Bot Rescue Mission — $20
- Blood & Truth — $40
- Everybody’s Golf VR — $30
- Farpoint — $20
- PlayStation VR Worlds — $15
- Until Dawn: Rush of Blood — $15
Some of these games are among PlayStation VR’s best. Astro Bot: Rescue Mission is like a Mario-style 3D platformer in VR and is one of the platform’s best games. Farpoint is a sci-fi shooter that takes great advantage of the PlayStation Aim controller–it scored a 7/10 in our Farpoint review. And lastly, Blood & Truth is a story-focused action game that has you shooting baddies on foot and in the passenger seat of moving vehicles. We scored it a 7/10 in our Blood & Truth review.
If you’re interested in more PS4 deals, there are a lot of different sales going on right now. The first is a budget-friendly sale for games under $20, such as Dark Souls Remastered and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete edition. The second is the Hidden Gems sale, which discounts over-looked indie games. And lastly, there’s the latest PlayStation weekend sale, which discounts a bunch of great games like Persona 5 Royal and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
