The PlayStation 5 makes it much easier to redeem PlayStation Plus titles
Longtime PlayStation Plus users probably have a huge library of titles at their fingertips now, especially if you’re the kind of person who’s made a habit of logging into the PlayStation Store each month to redeem the latest offerings. Or you’re me, who forgets half the time or puts it off until a “later” that never happens. Often that’s because I simply don’t like the process of redeeming each title in the PlayStation Store.
The PlayStation 5 removes many of the speed bumps in the process of redeeming PS Plus titles each month. Now, there’s a PlayStation Plus tab in your games library, which can be found at the right end of the main menu bar. The library allows for easy filtering for every game ever redeemed on PlayStation Plus, but more importantly, it features the games available for the current month right at the top of the PS Plus tab. (You’ll find it just below a banner ad for the PlayStation Plus Collection.)
You can quickly add the featured titles to your library, whether they’re for PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4. That’s it. That’s the tweet. Compared to having to navigate through the store, this is a huge UI fix I’m glad Sony implemented. (Especially compared to some of the more cumbersome parts of the new console’s menus.)
