Fortnite Fortbyte 28 Location Accessible by solving the pattern match puzzle
There’s less than 10 Fortbyte’s to go until all 100 have been revealed and today Epic Games released two more.
Fortbyte 56 is live and will be awarded to players for completing 6 challenges from Week 10. However, that’s not the one we’re concerned about.
The one we’re taking a look at is Fortbyte 28, which is live as of Thursday, July 11 and comes with a clue that reads: Accessible by solving the pattern match puzzle outside a desert junkyard’
By now, Fortnite players could (potentially) have enough Fortbyte’s (90, for those curious) to unlock the special Singularity Skin.
Whatsmore if you want, you can also go looking for the Fortnite Singularity Helmet Locations, which unlock a variety of new Singularity styles.
You don’t want to hang about though, because we’re edging closer to that Fortnite Season 10 start date when you’ll no longer be able to complete these quests or collect the rewards.
If you want help you can always take a look at out Fortnite Fortbyte locations guide so you can catch up.
In the meantime, keep reading, we’re going to explain how to solve the challenge for Fortbyte 28.
Want more Fornite Season 9 help? We don’t blame you, Epic Games crammed an awful lot into the Season 9 Battle Pass.
Even if you’re a pro, it’s not always easy when you can’t remember where to go when you have to locate 100 Fortnite Fortbyte locations.
As if that’s not enough, Epic Games have got a lot of Fortnite 14 Days of Summer challenge still live ready to be completed. That means there’s not long left to get the new skins to buy.
As if that wasn’t enough excitement for one day, the Singularity Skin is now live in the game if you want the various Singularity skin styles, you’ll need to look for the Singularity Helmet locations across the map.

Fortbyte 28 Accessible by solving the pattern match puzzle outside a desert junkyard
First, let’s tell you where to find this Fortbyte, you’ll find it in the south east part of the map, at the junkyard south of Paradise Palms.
Once you reach the desert Junkyard, you should find a shack just outside with a distinct colour coded puzzle on the side.
You then need to pull the lever and hit or shoot each of the colour coded squares in the order it shows.
So it might blink red twice and then orange, so you shoot or hit the red twice then the orange one, once.
Simple. Copy what it does.
At the time of writing its not clear if its the exact same pattern or random for each player. If it does have the same pattern for everyone we’ll be sure to post the order here.
If you need some hand-holding to help find it, just take a look at the gameplay on the above video with Fortnite Content Creator, Gattu.
When you finish all the puzzles, collect the Fortbyte and of course, make sure to finish the game for your progress to count.
And that is it! Check back tomorrow for our next Fortnite Fortbyte guide.
